The Bellbrook-Sugarcreek Park District manages numerous parks totaling approximately 670 acres in Sugarcreek Township and the City of Bellbrook. The Park District is governed by three Park Commissioners appointed by the Greene County Common Pleas Court serving overlapping three-year terms with the next open term beginning May 10, 2021.
Park Commissioners must be residents of Sugarcreek Township or Bellbrook and serve without pay or self-interest. Major responsibilities include representing the best interest of the community’s natural resources and open space for both active and passive recreation opportunities, attending monthly board meetings (generally the 4th Thursday of the month at 7 a.m.) and providing oversight and support to various Park District activities. There is an opening for a Park Board member with a term beginning May 10, 2021.
Applications for consideration must be received at the Park District office no later than March 8, 2021.
