Jodi holds a bachelor’s degree from Florida Atlantic University and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from McGregor of Antioch. She also earned her K–12 Principal’s License through Wright State University and the Ohio Department of Education.
With more than 20 years of experience in urban education at Dayton Public Schools, Jodi served as a teacher, administrator, mentor, and curriculum coach. She also provided communications support at the Air Force Research Laboratory as part of the Director’s Action Group.
Jodi continues her community leadership as a training consultant for the Miami Valley Communications Council and serves as an adjunct instructor in Organizational Leadership at Wright State University. Previously, she was Executive Director of the Bellbrook-Sugarcreek Chamber of Commerce.
A dedicated advocate for veterans, Jodi honors the legacy of her grandfather, WWII paratrooper Jim “Pee Wee” Martin, through national and local veteran initiatives. She is also a proud mother of two sons and a devoted dog mom to three rescue dogs.
