In 1954, Sugarcreek Township assumed the responsibility for administering its own planning and zoning functions as provided for in the Ohio Revised Code. The Township Trustees appointed a Zoning Commission and the first Zoning Resolution was adopted. In 2010 the Zoning Resolution underwent a major overhaul. The Resolution is updated on a continuous basis, as needed, with the last update occurring in 2020.
Unbound copies of the Zoning Resolution are available for $10 at the Planning and Zoning Department in the Township Administration Office, 2090 Ferry Road.
